Your Questions, Answered

  • We offer waxing hair removal for full body and face, as well as brow tinting & lamination, and lash tint & lifts. Our most popular services are Brazilians and Brows!

  • Yes, all the time! We offer our full menu of body and facial waxing services to clients of all genders. Popular services include back, shoulders, and male Brazilians (AKA Brozilian, Manzilian, Guyzilian). Please note that for intimate waxing (such as Brazilian), we will ask you to indicate which anatomy we’re working with to ensure you’re paired with properly trained staff.

  • You are entirely welcome here. We strive to create a safe, respectful, and affirming space for everyone. Because intimate waxing services (like Brazilians) are scheduled based on anatomical needs and staff specialization rather than gender identity, you will be asked to indicate your current anatomy when booking. This ensures you are paired with a staff member best trained to serve you.

  • You can absolutely still get waxed! Being on your cycle does not affect our ability to perform the service. We just ask that you wear a clean tampon or menstrual cup during your appointment. Please note that your skin may be a bit more sensitive to discomfort during this time. Our standard 24-hour cancellation policy applies to menstrual cycles, as our policies are strictly in place to provide a living wage to our staff.

  • For the best results, hair should be at least 1/4-inch long (about the size of a grain of rice). If you recently shaved, this usually means waiting about 2 to 3 weeks before your appointment. If the hair is too short, the wax won't be able to grip it effectively.

  • Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but we won't sugarcoat it—there is a quick sting! However, our experienced specialists use high-quality wax and advanced techniques designed to minimize discomfort. The sting subsides almost immediately, and the results are entirely worth it.

  • Yes! Waxing is completely safe during pregnancy. Just like during your period, increased hormone levels might make you a little more sensitive than usual, but our team is fully trained to keep you safe, comfortable, and propped up comfortably throughout the service.

    • Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the area 24 to 48 hours before your visit to remove dead skin cells.

    • Clean Skin: Come with clean skin, free of heavy lotions or oils.

    • Skip the Drinks: Try to avoid heavy caffeine or alcohol right before your appointment, as both can tighten pores and make skin more sensitive.

  • For the first 24 to 48 hours post-wax, your pores are open and vulnerable. To prevent irritation or ingrown hairs:

    • Avoid hot tubs, saunas, heavy sweating, and intense workouts.

    • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds.

    • Wear loose-fitting clothing to let the skin breathe.

    • Wait 48 hours before gently exfoliating again.

  • Please let your provider know about any medications you are taking.

    • Retin-A/Retinols: You must stop using these on the treatment area at least 7 days prior to waxing to prevent skin lifting.

    • Accutane: We cannot wax anyone currently taking Accutane or who has taken it within the last 6 months, as it severely thins the skin.

  • To maintain smooth results and gradually thin out hair growth, we recommend booking your appointments every 4 to 6 weeks. Consistency is key—the more regularly you wax, the weaker the hair follicle becomes, making future sessions faster and much less uncomfortable.
